Brilliant piece from Sunday Business Post Agenda Magazine (Ireland)

Guilty Pleasures, Agenda Magazine,
Sunday Business Post, Ireland. 8-AUG-10
We're really chuffed that the Guilty Pleasures column in Agenda Magazine (published with the Sunday Business Post) has road tested our Chamomile & Rosehip cream for sensitive skin.

Even more so that they feel it "outstrips" Dr Hauschka, our much better known competitor!

The article isn't on their website, so I have copied it below.

Grab a slice of Pai

Nelsons' new organic skincare range, Pai, has been hailed by organic guru Jo Fairley of Beauty Bible fame as a "really-and-truly natural range".

Created by Sarah Brown, it's a small, simple range certified organic by the Soil Association.

Having been blessed with trouble-free skin herself, Guilty Pleasures sent the Pai Chamomile and Rosehip moisturising day cream (€29.95 for 30ml) to be road-tested by a sensitively-skinned associate.

The associate felt the cream would be too unctious for her combination skin but, after a week of use, she says she was flummoxed by the obvious improvement in the red, flaky skin around her mouth, and by a distinct lack of blocked pores, and greasy T-zone.

Could the cream actually be living up to its proclamations?

Containing anti-oxidants and Omega 3 & 6, the cream is said to have regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties.

Moreover, it is free from parabens, alcohol (which dries the skin and can trigger conditions such as rosacea), skin irritants and beeswax (which is comodogenic and pore-blocking).

The colour, viscocity and smell of the cream is akin to Dr Hauschka's (beeswax-containing) Quince Day Cream, but far outstrips it by our tester's reckoning - price similarity notwithstanding.

Available from Nelsons Pharmacy, Duke Street Dublin.

(Note: Will also be available shortly from Nelsons Pharmacy, Bond Street, London.)
