Aromatherapy to control Mood Swings {Health}

aromatherapy diffuser at Perfect Skin Care for you

So, few days back, I was having my share of mood swings and wasn't feeling up to the mark. So, I thought of using the diffuser I got some time back. I have been using the diffuser for quite sometime and let me tell you, its one of the most amazing things I have ever used.

Since I wasn't feeling too good, I decided to get a bit of aromatherapy. And, the results were damn great (read AWESOME-ST). Its one of the best ways to get your mood better immediately and even if not better, calmer, at least, and it also relieves anxiety.

I love essential oils. I haven't used fragrance oils yet. I prefer essential oils because they are multi-purpose and last longer (I guess that applies to fragrance oils as well). I have used Patchouli, Cedarwood, Neroli in my aromatherapy. Totally loving Patchouli right now.

Well, let me share other advantages. Your room looks cozy (diffusers and tea light candle add to the home decor), the essential oils act as natural room fresheners, the essential oils are also great as natural insect repellants. Lemongrass, Cedarwood and Citronella are amazing for that purpose.

Next time you feel low, you know what to do? So, don't forget this natural remedy to relieve anxiety and feel refreshed and take care :) And, don't forget to switch off the lights!!

Tea Tree Oil for Pests and Mosquitoes {DIY}

Hey Everyone! This is one of the best Mondays for me which I am absolutely enjoying!! Why? Well, I shall reveal that soon enough. Till then, let me talk about a little trick which I used when there was a barrage of mosquitoes at my home.

To get rid of mosquitoes and flies and bugs in the house, use tea tree oil. You can either take a few drops and apply it on the exposed sections of your body (I did this) or you could take a spray bottle and mix a few drops of tea tree in water and spray it on the windows and doors to keep away the pests. May be a repeated procedure would be necessary for a airy place so spray it once an hour or so.

Or, light a diffuser with tea tree or lemongrass in the house. And, use tea tree while mopping the house as well!!! I use tea tree sometimes and sometimes its just ylang ylang or rosemary. But, whichever EO I use, the house smells amazing for quite sometime!

Have you used tea tree oil as a bug and insect repellant?
