Just Gossip Vol. 2 - The Big News!!

Ok, so, I wanted to share with you all a really amazing piece of news. My lifelong dream came true when I got this basic professional camera. Yes, I got 60D...yay!!! Well, yup, that was the second on my list after the LED and its the only luxury I wanted in my entire life.

Oh boy, its such an involved machine. The aperture and shutter speed settings apart, there are a hell lot of things I need to learn. Whew! I hope I can make it to the photo walk there is in January. And, honestly, right now I am kind of overwhelmed.

I am trying to learn the ins and outs of the product and hope to get my hands real smooth on it soon. In fact, I am going to attend a colleague's wedding in January so was thinking of taking my camera there but I hope the guests over there don't mistake me for a photographer :D

This is my biggest moment in 2012 :) And, leaving you all with the best wishes for Christmas.

What you doing for Diwali?

So, tomorrow is choti Diwali and day after, big bang...yay!! Hopefully, I will get to meet one of my really old friend. We have been planning for last five years to meet but till day, the moment hasn't come and we are desperately hoping it would be tomorrow.

We are actually college friends and we talk as if we meet everyday. That's what happens when you spend 24 hours with a person and that happens only when you stay in hostel!! And, I shall also be meeting some uncles and aunts who are from yesteryear's of my life, early 90's :D

And, since all of these are scheduled posts, I shall try to update as and when I get something interesting to share. Rest, enjoy your days and I shall be out of town in a few days and the posts would be coming daily. So, enjoy, comment and don't forget to share how you enjoyed Diwali :)

Happy Diwali!!!

My favourite festival of the year is here. Somehow, I am very very excited for this Diwali. I don't really know why but it feels like I have been waiting for it, like, forever. I don't know even if I am making any sense :D This is gonna be my last diwali before marriage :( I want to spend all my subsequent diwali's with my parents as well. Lets see what happens!!

Anyways, have a very very happy and prosperous Diwali and may your next year be full of happiness, contentment and success in all the endeavours. Stay happy :)

Bloggie Holiday!!

Ok, so, since I am having a bloggers block and am too tired and want a holiday, happy holidays to you all :) Btw, I am so sorry that I didn't wish you all a very Happy Navratras and Dusshera. One of my friend's is doing for all nine days this year!!! Kudos to her. Btw, if you are also doing nine days fast, don't forget to keep your energy levels up, especially, if you go to office or work. Taking multivitamin tablets really help (only on doctor's prescription). Chalo see ya :) So, are you keeping fasts?

Happy Janmashtami!!

So, today is Krishanji's birthday!! I don't really celebrate this festival but then any festival is supposed to be a holiday, no?? So, what are you guys doing today?? Plans to temples or ISKCON. I had been once to ISKCON Hyderabad. I think there are two or more temples but I have been only to one and the decoration was awesome even though the temple wasn't very huge!! Wish you all a very Happy Janmashtami :)

Just Gossip Vol. 12 - Happy Holi!

eah, I have become very unreliable! I am angry with myself as well so please be easy on me. And, I am really sorry to everyone who has commented and sent queries to me. I am going to reply to them very soon. The thing is I am not able to do proper time management and excess backlog is creating a lot of workload. And, I have taken few decisions to keep up with the blog work.

Before I go on to other things, wish you a very very Happy Holi! Few of my friends were getting irritated that nothing happens in Hyderabad on this day. Well, as a rule, I am not a big fan of holi but true! Hyderabad is a little boring on Holi but even then our neighbors enjoyed a lot. The problem I have with Holi is the irritating chemical-laden Holi powders! I get allergies with them. And, they are not even good for the environment. 

Ok, I shall stop my preaching! Anyways, these days eco-friendly holi colors have come up. So, have you used those? Guess what, the society I stay in decided to play Holi with kesar, turmeric, almond paste and flowers among all other good things. And, outside colors were strictly forbidden. Such a good initiative, na? 

Anyways, regarding the blog, I have noticed that I have become really lazy and have been neglecting the blog a lot so I have decided that I shall re-time my posts. I have decided to post only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (three times a week) and then slowly get back on track to 5 days a week. I am also taking this week off. So, I shall see you all on April Fool's day :)

Just Gossip Vol. 6 - The New Year Project 2013

So, here is me and my blog wishing you a very very happy new year!! I wish the new year brings you a lot of happy celebrations and a new life :)

And, I have a project for this New Year :) Would you like to take part in it??? If yes, then you just need a jar or a box kind of stuff and lots of small papers and good pens :)

Everyday, each time, you learn something, you find something to make you happy, you do something worthwhile, anything you would like to remember, anything which made you smile, anything which touched your heart, anything you want to talk about, write it in a piece of paper and put it in the box/jar.

At the end of the year, we shall open the box and read all the pieces and share ones which are good enough to be shared :) What say??? Would you like to join in?
